One after last As we approach Devcon, we are excited today to announce the launch of a quad-series funding round for Southeast Asian communities through Donation box!
We see the excitement and energy of the growing community in Southeast Asia and witnessed the passion of local builders firsthand during our tour of Southeast Asia in April.
Special Initiative: Square Funding for Southeast Asian Communities 👏
The Ethereum community in Southeast Asia is organizing a Squared funding round in collaboration with clr.fund specifically for the region! The Devcon team is proud to support this initiative by contributing $30,000 to the matching funding pool. This funding method emphasizes the importance of community choice, allowing community members’ preferences to drive the distribution of funds.

Road to Devcon Southeast Asia 🌏
In April, we met with communities in Hanoi 🇻🇳, Bangkok 🇹🇭, Chiang Mai 🇹🇭, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾, Phnom Penh 🇰🇭, Jakarta 🇮🇩, Manila 🇵🇭, and Singapore 🇸🇬. Each organized meetups and brought together Ethereum community members in their own unique ways.
We saw young students curious about open source technologies, community leaders coming together to brainstorm how to work together to advance Ethereum development, and busy meetings (despite the national holiday season!) during SongkranLots of vibrant energy and enthusiasm to celebrate the achievements of community members.
