To support this vision, we make changes in the way we work, and to re -go towards us

Three strategic goals: L1 scaling, expanding the dots, and improving UX. In practice, this means restructuring our teams and creating explicit coordination structures on these strategic goals.

This also means that some PR&D members will not continue at Ethereum. We hope that these individuals will continue in the ethereum ecosystem and encourage others to build their teams to search for them.

The changes that we announce today are a departure from our previous ways of work, but we feel that they have put us on a more responsive and effective path. To celebrate the beginning of this chapter and the new structure, we would like to re -submit the “R&D Protocol” to the world under a new name: protocol.

Strategic initiatives

During the past year, many of us concluded that we need to do the best clarification of our priorities. In a conversation with our society, our collective mind has produced three ambitious goals for us to achieve them in a short time: L1 scale, deficiency scale, UX improvement. Doing this successfully is the most valuable work that we can do on behalf of our society, and the responsibility to present it.

It is time for us to ensure that these goals are directly arousing and customizing resources. Each of these goals is now assigned to a Strategic initiative For the protocol, a common work space to collect our supplementary talents. We encourage each protocol team to think about how to support our work to implement these strategic initiatives.

It is important to execute us the presence of leaders in our group that society trusts. We are more evident in appointing leaders to accelerate our strategic initiatives to increase accountability.

Specifically, the following persons are responsible for ensuring EF implementing each of its strategic goals:

  • L1 scale: Tim Picot and Dietrichs
  • L2 scale: Alex Stokes and Franchisco Damato
  • Ux improvement: Barnabi Monut and Josh Rudolph

They will be supported by Dankrad Feist, who will work as a strategic consultant for all tracks, as well as customers expected for projects specified to push these goals forward.

More than ever, we have to solve problems that bring the capabilities of all protocol members simultaneously. The move quickly to research to preliminary models and production means that we need more tight episodes of cooperation and comments. Our community

The protocol cannot accomplish everything on its own. Our ecological system has become stronger than the work of many other basic research and development teams, which amplify our own efforts and bring features to reality. Our role is to replace these teams, but setting a high level for ourselves in our work with them.
