The American State Office of Foreign Assets (OFAC) today issued sanctions against almost 400 individuals and entities whose products and services enable Russia to maintain their war effort and avoid sanctions.
Among those sanctioned today is KB Vostok (aka Восток design office) a producer of drones that specializes in “development of unmanned industrial class vehicles”.

In the previously published report on Russian media, KB Vostok stated that they were targeting the product called “Scalpel” for the use of the Russian army in the “Special Military Operation”. According to the second Russian article, KB Vostok stated “We are constantly dialogue with the army regarding technical plane requirements.” It is believed that the KB is closely linked to the ‘Vostok Battalion’ operating in Donbas’s region of Ukraine.

One writer’s address identified the OFAC as connected to KB wasty. This address is shown on the KB Vostok website for several months as a method of providing support to the organization.
