Better, faster, stronger: Migrating our UI library to ShadCN

After extensive work on optimizing website performance in 2023, we realized that our previous UI library was preventing us from delivering the best performance and user experience. Since ethereum.org receives visits from people from all over the world, using a variety of devices and sometimes slower internet connections, we needed our UI to work seamlessly for everyone.

That’s why, in collaboration with the community, we decided to convert our UI library to ShadCN, which is based on Tailwind CSS, a popular performance-focused library widely used by developers.

Although the migration process is almost complete, you can follow the progress on our site Github repository.
