Japanese crypto DMM Bitcoin exchange announced that it lost 4,502.9 BTC ($308 million) in an “unauthorized leak”.

If confirmed as a theft, it would be the eighth largest cryptocurrency heist of all time, and the largest since the $477 million hack suffered by FTX in November 2022.
